At Plastic Club, every night of the week, all of the models that Milan has gather once off duty to party. Under the clandestine spotlights of a French couture house and released from all obligations, Stefano Gabbana leaves Domenico and his studio for the deck of this Lombardian Studio 54.

Studio 54 en Lombardie, c’est au Plastic que se retrouve tout au long de la semaine et de la nuit ce que Milan compte de mannequins en permission. Egalement libéré de ses obligations, Stefano Gabbana s’occupe de l’ambiance et son, sous les néons clandestins d’une grande maison.

It is almost impossible to love every piece in a collection — from the first outfit on the runway all the way to the last — it has never happened to me. In the same league as unicorns and the idea of having a « reason » to go shopping, I have never even considered it a possibility. But, on 12 January, at approximately 7:35pm, it happened, right in front of my astonished eyes: the most perfect collection ever seen, by Neil Barett.

Il est si improbable d’aimer une collection du premier au dernier ensemble qui la composent que cela ne m’était jusqu’alors jamais arrivé. Un peu comme la licorne ou ma raison pendant les soldes, j’en venais même à douter de son existence. Ce samedi 12 janvier, 19h35, elle a pourtant surgi devant mes yeux ébahis : la collection parfaite, par Neil Barett.

My heart is not for sale; it has belonged for a long time to Christopher Bailey’s works, as well as to anything leopard print. You should know this by heart already. Hence why today I’ll focus instead on my recent infatuation which I discovered at the Burberry Prorsum show the other day: the white heart designs are in the perfect place, featured on bordeaux-coloured knitwear and shirts has a lovable pop inspiration. Possibly not suitable for the faint-of-heart, it definitely does our heart some good in these troubled times.

Mon coeur n’est plus à prendre. Acquis de longue date au travail de Christopher Bailey comme au motif léopard, ce n’est plus un secret pour personne. C’est donc sur mon tout récent coup de cœur Burberry Prorsum que je m’attarderai aujourd’hui, survenu lors du défilé Automne-Hiver 2013/14 auquel j’assistais. Atouts coeur de la collection, maille bordeaux ou chemises émaillées du motif blanc, pour un rendu pop à souhait. Du baume au cœur en ces temps que d’aucuns diraient moroses. Sacrés cœurs !

Your mirror has broken after too much use. Shirt and jacket collars are then embellished with its pieces, by Frankie Morello, for his « Architectural » men’s collection for Fall-Winter 2013, presented this week in Milan. The result is brilliant, especially on this black knitwear sweater. Mirror, mirror on the wool, will I be the best dressed of them all?

A trop le questionner, c’est en éclats que votre miroir a volé. Cols de chemise et de veste s’en trouvent parés par Frankie Morello pour la collection « Architectural » de l’automne-hiver prochain, présentée cette semaine à Milan. Un résultat du plus bel effet, en particulier sur fond de maille noire. Miroir, mon beau miroir…
