The Blue Eyed Boy

For as long as I can remember, and certainly as long as I’ve had this blog, I have wanted to acquire, or rather, to be offered a Haut-a-courroies bag from Hermes. I recently stumbled upon an editorial directed by Japanese photographer Taku for Pen Magazine, which led me to a very sad conclusion: Santa did not honor my 2010 Christmas wish. FYI.

D’aussi loin que je me souvienne, je vous faisais part dès les débuts du blog de mon irrépressible envie d’acquérir un jour, que dis-je, de me faire offrir, un Haut-à-courroies de la maison Hermès. Le découvrir porté comme lors du défilé dans un éditorial réalisé par le photographe Taku pour le magazine japonais Pen et dans le Elle néerlandais m’amena toutefois à ce triste constat : ma commande de Noël 2010 n’a toujours pas été honorée. Haut désarroi.

Bien dans ma peau, beau dans mes écailles. Blouson Loewe ou sweat Calvin Klein. Il n’y a que le crocodile qui me plaît et c’est cyan qu’il me sied.

This season, Persian lamb is out of the closet and making a comeback in Milanese and Parisian catwalks. Hermes and Dsquared2, in particular, succeed in rejuvenating astrakan through young and modern-cut jackets, which is certainly preferred towards imposing coats you might find in a Berlin vintage shop. I’d forgive Marc for being a bit out of his mind and arriving late to his early morning meeting.

Un temps décrié, l’agneau persan sort du bois cette saison sur les podiums parisiens et milanais. Hermès et Dsquared2 en particulier dépoussièrent l’astrakan dans des déclinaisons jeunes et saillantes, blouson ou gilet. On les préfèrera au tombé imposant de manteaux dignes d’un fond de friperie berlinoise, tout en pardonnant à Marc ce gris souris d’agneau enfilé à la hâte après un réveil difficile…
